For all the parents out there struggling to find children's medicine, we would like to explain something very relevant. Both products above have the exact same active ingredient.... Acetaminophen! That's it, nothing else!!
The guidelines for taking Children's Tylenol is:
Age 7 - Take 10ml / 320g Acetaminophen
Age 10 - Take 15ml / 480g Acetaminophen
And of course pay $12 plus tax for a total of 3200mg of grape flavored Acetaminophen.
The little 10 pack of Tylenol on the left has 10 x 500mg of Acetaminophen for a total of 5000mg at $4 plus tax.
If your child can swallow half or a full tablet, don't waste your money on the fancy packaging and the Inactive Ingredients of anhydrous citric acid, FD&C red no. 40, flavors, glycerin, high fructose corn syrup, microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, purified water, sodium benzoate, sorbitol solution, sucralose, xanthan gum!!!! You and your child deserve better!
